Answering the cultural and environmental call for sustainable burial in Northeast Wisconsin.
Redesigning the end starts with you.
What if your final act as a human being was boldly simple, beautiful, and left a legacy of connection to the land? What if your final footprint on Earth could have a positive impact on climate change while also being financially affordable? What if your final resting place helped to conserve land while serving as a place of peace, remembrance, grief, meditation, nature, and inclusion for the entire community? Eternal Ecosystems, a up-and-coming non-profit, wants to offer this sustainable deathcare option through conservation burial to families in the Fox Cities and beyond.
The Mission of Eternal Ecosystems:
To provide a protected green space dedicated to land conservation through a reawakened interest in natural burial practices, serving families in the Fox Cities and beyond.
What is conservation burial?
Conservation burial, also commonly known as green burial, natural burial, or eco-friendly burial means that a person is buried unimpeded. Generally, it refers to an end-of-life disposition completed without embalming and without using concrete, plastic, fiberglass, or other non-biodegradable materials for the burial. In contrast, conservation burial encourages use of burial containers or shrouds constructed from local wood, wicker, linen, or cotton and uses native stones, plants, rocks, and/or GPS to mark a grave location.
Serving the community pre-need and at-need.
We want to empower individuals to advocate for what they can control surrounding death. This is why we are here to have important conversations and answer your questions about conservation burial before you need it. We are also here to come alongside families in their time of need.
